You Must Control The Devil

JAMES 4:7 NKJ

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Most believers expect God to control the devil, but God gave you that responsibility.
EPHESIANS 4:27 NKJ
27 nor give place to the devil.
Would God tell you not to let the devil have any place, if you had no say about it? If the devil does have a place in your affairs, it's because you allow it.
The devil will take over -- if you let him.
Jesus won the victory. It legally belongs to you. But the devil is a criminal, who doesn't obey the law unless forced to. You must enforce Jesus' victory and Lordship in the situations of life, or the devil will take control by default.
No human being, in themselves, is any match for the devil. So you can't resist him in your own ability or name. You are not more powerful than the devil, but you do have more authority as a believer in Jesus Christ.
Just as a policeman in uniform has the backing of the entire government and all its forces, so believers have the backing of God and all His forces, when we stand against the devil in Jesus' Name.
God gave you authority to resist the devil, and expects you to use it. If you disobey God by not using it, things will not go very well in your life.
Praying to God to stop the devil's operations is no different than my son asking me to take out the trash, after I told him to do it.
God told us to resist the devil and he would flee. We must believe and act on God's Word.
SAY THIS: I will resist the devil and he will flee from me.

“Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Sardis... en Filadelfia... Laodicea”(Ap. 3:1,7,14)
Creemos que las 7 iglesias de Apocalipsis contienen 7 mensajes y básicamente hay: Un retrato de Jesús, su perfil. Una radiografía de la Iglesia, amonestada o elogiada. Un llamado y una promesa. Oiga el mensaje y haga caso al Señor.
Según Stam: Sardis, una iglesia famosa pero muerta. “El Machu Picchu de Asia Menor”; confiaba tanto en sus escaparadas defensas que se olvidaban de vigilar su acrópolis contra el ataque de sus enemigos. De igual manera la congregación, confiaba en su fama de “iglesia muy viva, y ni se daba cuenta de estar muerta”.
Filadelfia una débil pero fiel. La ciudad había sido fundada por el imperio como “su puerta” hacia Asia Menor. A través de sus arcos iban y venían caravanas a Roma. En Filadelfia cuando moría una persona importante en su honor se le daba una columna en el templo. Cristo la elogia y abre una puerta misionera.
Laodicea: una iglesia engreída que daba asco a Cristo y amenaza con arrojarlos de su boca. Era un centro bancario y financiero, enriquecido por su industria textil y farmacéutica. Con toda su actividad bancaria se creen ricos, Cristo los declara pobres. Exportadores de telas finas, no se dan cuenta de su desnudez espiritual. Producían ungüento oftalmológico para curar la vista a los pueblos, sin darse cuenta de su ceguera espiritual.
El mundo esta muerto “en sus delitos y pecados”; pero la Iglesia del Señor no se debe creer autosuficiente, ni muy activa, porque puede estar “muerta” sin la vida dinámica de Cristo, es mejor ser humilde, disponible para testificar y ser misionera, dentro de la ciudad y fuera del país. ¿En dónde te encuentras? ¿Eres frío, caliente o tibio? Arrepiéntete, ama al Señor y ayuda a los necesitados. Siga orando por nosotros.
ORACIÓN:
Señor líbrame del activismo y que pueda amarte y servir al prójimo.
