Every Good Gift Is From Above

JAMES 1:17 WEY 17 Every gift which is good, and every perfect boon, is from above, and comes down from the Father, who is the source of all Light. In Him there is no variation nor the slightest suggestion of change.
Whatever good that you enjoy in life is because of God. Because of His love for you, He created it.
Do you enjoy eating good food? Who designed that food? Who planned it all out so you could have it and enjoy it?
Do you enjoy beautiful scenes in nature -- sunsets, flowers, butterflies, wild animals, mountains? God created them all for your pleasure.
Do you enjoy a mother's love? God created mothers and put within them the capacity to love their children.
Do you enjoy the love of a spouse? God created them and put within them the capacity to love you.
I could go on.
When you think this through, you realize that God actually loves you and helps you through other people. He put the love within them - - so He is the ultimate source of the love you receive from others.
Everything good about life is attributable to God. Everything that we enjoy -- He created it, or the raw materials and the ability for humans to produce it.
As you think of all this, I hope you are struck with two thoughts: I would like to be closer to this kind of God, and I should be more thankful to God for more things than I have been.
SAY THIS: Thank you God my Father for all the good you have created, designed, and provided for me.

¿CÓMO ADORAR AL REY?

MARZO
DIA 01

“Cuando llegaron a la casa, vieron al niño con María, su madre; y postrándose lo adoraron. Abrieron sus cofres y le presentaron como regalos oro, incienso y mirra” (Mateo 2:11)
Adorar, es la actitud interna de postrar nuestro espíritu, alma y cuerpo en señal de reverencia a Dios, reconociéndolo como soberano, Señor de la creación y nuestro padre.
No tenemos que adorar a imágenes ni figuras hechas por el ser humano y postrarnos en reverencia, porque ese acto es idolatría, al igual que adorar a una persona, animal o cosa, es un pecado que ofende a Dios.
La Biblia nos enseña a exaltar a Jesucristo, quien ahora es presentado por Mateo como Rey, nacido en Belén, en Israel, tal como la genealogía lo prueba; Jesús nació por obra y gracia del Espíritu Santo, en tiempos de Herodes, fue buscado y adorado por sabios del Oriente; en medio de un imperio romano cruel y corrupto.
Herodes: llamado el Grande, llegó a ser rey del territorio de Judea dominado por los romanos; gobernó como vasallo de César durante los años 37-4 AC Fue padre de Arquéalo, de Herodes Antipas y de Felipe. La referencia a Herodes permite fijar el nacimiento de Jesús hacía los años 6-5 AC. El calendario actual, por un error de cálculo, colocó el comienzo de la era cristiana varios años más tarde. (RV95)
El Cristo o Mesías, es adorado por unos sabios quienes le regalan: oro, incienso y mirra, símbolos que identifican a Cristo como Rey, sacerdote y profeta. Al igual que ellos debemos adorar al Señor dando lo mejor de nuestra vida, nuestros talentos, nuestros bienes y legados familiares.
Hay una huída a Egipto y un retorno a Israel, por la soberana mano de Dios, quien tiene control de todo. Adore al Señor y deje esa carga en su mano. Ore a Dios para que sigamos cambiando vidas en Cristo.
ORACIÓN:
Señor reconozco que eres mi Salvador, dedicó mi vida a ti, dedicó mis recursos, dones, talentos, dinero y familia para la Gloria de tu nombre.
