Be A Minister

2 CORINTHIANS 3:5-6 NIV

5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
A minister's job is turning people to God.
No one has to appoint you, ordain you, or give you credentials to make you a minister.
A minister is one who serves -- serves God, and people, by turning people to God so they can receive help.
Being a minister does not require you to have a title such as pastor, bishop, or priest.
While it is true that God does call some to special places of ministry, it is a mistake to think that we all cannot, or should not, minister.
A minister is a middle-man like a real estate agent. A person can find out about God on their own with a Bible, just like someone can buy a house directly, but it is easier and faster to have a more experienced person who knows the territory help you.
Someone who helps another is a minister. You can do that.
SAY THIS: God made me able to minister -- to help someone.

“No os conforméis a este mundo, sino transformaos por medio de la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que comprobéis cuál es la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta” (Romanos 12:2)
Arturo, dice que en cierta ocasión fue miembro de un grupo no religioso, y aprendió a “vaciar su mente”; pero tenía un vacío espiritual, pues, le faltaba a Dios, para una plena renovación mental y una espiritualidad cristiana basada en la Biblia.
El Apóstol Pablo, toca el tema del remanente y restauración de Israel, pueblo endurecido en su pecado, bajo la soberanía del Señor, quien injertó el olivo silvestre (gentiles sin Cristo) al árbol de la salvación, para que no seamos arrogantes, pues, Dios salvará a su pueblo.
Cuando tenemos claro en el mapa de nuestra mente, que Dios es soberano, que solamente a Él debemos ofrecer nuestra vida y renovamos nuestra mente por medio de su Palabra, veremos que su voluntad es perfecta y que tiene sentido meditar en su Palabra y así cambiar nuestra mente para pensar como Dios.
Es que Dios no quiere “lavados de cerebro” con filosofías relativistas, ni vidas religiosas sin adoración al Señor ni ayuda al prójimo. Él quiere que usemos los dones espirituales para edificar su Iglesia y ser útil a la comunidad.
Si buscas renovación mental acude a Cristo, ora y piensa en su Palabra, y deja que Él gobierne tu mente y vivas de acuerdo a los valores del Reino de Dios. El cambio de mente, es un acto de arrepentimiento, un giro de 180 grados, para adorar a Dios. Ore para que sigamos cambiando vidas en el poder de Cristo. Es hora de buscar a Dios para amarlo con toda la mente y servirle.
ORACIÓN:
Señor perdona mi individualismo, y enséñame a ser útil, a mis vecinos, a mi nación y aquellos que te necesitan...

All The Promises Of God

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20 NCV

20 The yes to all of God's promises is in Christ, and through Christ we say yes to the glory of God.
Although the entire Bible is a message to us today, not all of it is written directly to us.
The New Testament epistles are written directly to us who are in the church, the Body of Christ, which includes all believers.
We do need to rightly divide the Bible, but since all the promises of God are yes in Christ -- they find their fulfillment in Him -- we can take any promise of blessing in the entire Bible and appropriate it by faith.
God has blessed us with every blessing in Christ!
EPHESIANS 1:3 NKJ
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
Every promise in the Bible is not directed to us specifically. But, by faith in Jesus Christ, we can appropriate every blessing God has to offer.
When we do receive the promised blessings of God's Word, it brings glory to God.
All this is not automatic. You have to actively receive. But the main "activity" involved with receiving blessing from God is believing. To truly believe you need evidence. That's why you need to read and study the Bible.
SAY THIS: Every Bible promise of blessing is mine in Christ.

“Pero tú, hombre, ¿Quién eres, para que alterques con Dios? ¿Dirá el vaso de barro al que lo formó: <>” (Romanos 9:20)
Hay personas que por naturaleza son polémicas, a toda cosa le arma problemas; discute con todo el mundo, incluso con Dios; y cuestiona ¿Por qué Dios hizo, a unos ricos y a otros pobres?
Si bien Dios es soberano, y Él tiene control de todo, también es cierto, que usted y yo, tenemos libre albedrío es decir, el poder de decidir entre el bien y el mal, entre trabajar y superarse; o ser ocioso y no tener nada.
La figura del alfarero, un maestro escultor que hace vasos de barro para honra y deshonra, nos trae a la mente los vasos de ira para destrucción, versus los vasos de misericordia para su Gloria, es decir, Dios escogió a Israel, para que sea su pueblo, amado, para que le ame y le sirva.
Fue y es la predicación del Evangelio el medio para ser salvo, liberado íntegramente de todo para tener comunión con Dios. El que confesaba a Cristo como Señor, lo hacía al precio de la vida. Israel supo de esta salvación; por eso Dios lo celó con la salvación por gracia a los gentiles.
Dios es soberano, sabe por qué y para qué... Discutir si Dios a unos salva y a otros condena, es confundirse. El Señor quiere la salvación de todos, y cada uno es responsable ante Dios, de sus actos y salvación. No peques, Dios siempre tiene la razón.
Ahora pide perdón si haz dudado de Dios, adóralo y ofrenda para que el Señor nos siga usando para cambiar vidas en el poder de Cristo.
ORACIÓN:
Soberano Dios, aunque no entienda ciertos hechos, me postró ante ti y reconozco que eres mi Señor y Salvador...

I Am Wrong

"What are you wrong about, preacher?"
I don't know. If I knew I would change.
"Then how do you know you're wrong?"
Unless I'm perfect and know everything -- I must be wrong about some things. I just don't know what.
"But I thought preachers knew everything."
Some of them may think they do. But even the Apostle Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament, said he only knew in part.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:12 NIV
12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
There are two ways to face life: thinking you know everything and are doing everything right, or realizing you are not yet perfect. The first way is pride, the second is humility.
If you think you know everything, you cut yourself off from learning. If you think everything you do is right, you almost eliminate any chance of improvement.
Do you really desire to never know more than you do now? Would it please you to never make any progress from where you are now?
Then, to protect you from the enemy of pride, start each day saying, "I am wrong. Lord, show me where to change."
Pride stunts your growth as a person. Pride retards progress. Pride robs you — and can kill. Pride causes strife and destroys relationships. Pride isolates. Pride closes doors of opportunity.
Humility is the only antidote for pride and all its horrible consequences.
The first step to wholeness is to realize you have a problem.
SAY THIS: I am wrong. Lord, please correct me.

“¿Qué pasa hijo mío? ¿Qué pasa, fruto de mis votos al Señor?”(Pr. 31:2)
Mi madre Marina partió a la presencia del Señor víctima de la diabetes. Meses antes de morir, Dios me dio el privilegio de guiarla a Cristo como su Salvador. Ella me educó con valores morales. Recuerdo con cariño sus sabias enseñanzas.
Hoy animo a cada madre a honrar a Dios, al igual que la madre de Lemuel, el rey; ella supo aconsejarlo para que no gaste su vigor en una vida disipada con mujeres y con licores; ya que como líder debía impartir justicia y saber guiar los destinos de una nación.
Una madre genuina, es una mujer virtuosa, una joya “¡Es más valiosa que las piedras preciosas!” Ella ora por sus hijos, los educa, los protege y busca el pan con un trabajo honrado, junto a su cónyuge, o sola como madre soltera.
Benditas las madres como María, la madre de Jesús quien dijo: “Aquí está la sierva del Señor; hágase conmigo conforme a tu palabra”(Lucas 1:38); o Ana la madre de Samuel, quien siendo estéril se aferró a Dios, y él le concedió un hijo, y Ana en gratitud lo dedicó al Señor (1 S. 1:28)
Comparto una poesía de Daniel Nuño, titulada: “Amor bien demostrado”Cuando más pienso en mi madre, más me acuerdo del Señor,Más ganas tengo de amarle, pues más me admira su Amor.Para cuidarme en la vida, no encontró mejor legado que el de mi madre querida. ¡Cuánto amor me ha demostrado! Mientras viva, no quisiera olvidar tan fiel motivo. ¡Bendita la madre buena! Y al Señor, la enhorabuena, por su amor tan noble y vivo.
Si tu madre esta vida ora por ella y hónrala. Bendito sea Dios que creo a la madre como ilustración del amor más puro e incondicional.
ORACIÓN:
Señor levanta personas productivas, guiadas por madres sabias...

Surrounded By Favor

PSALM 5:12 NIV

12 For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
God's favor can change your life.
Someone who is favored is called a favor-ite.
(The New Testament teaches that being righteous (in right standing with God), is a gift we receive when we receive Jesus -- not something we attain by our works.)
So, the promise of Scripture is that God surrounds you with favor. What does that mean?
Favor is the blessing of God making people like you and treat you well.
Is it automatic? We have access to God's grace only through faith (Romans 5:2). So, you will never experience the fullness of God's favor without believing for it.
Faith is released through words. So every day thank the Lord for giving you favor with people, for surrounding you with favor!
Don't say, "People don't like me." or "Everybody seems to be against me." or "I never get a break."
Instead say, "Thank you Lord for giving me favor with people."
Then watch God begin to move on your behalf!
SAY THIS: Thank you Lord for surrounding me with favor.

LA CARACTERISTICA DE UN HIJO (A) DE DIOS

LA CARÁCTERÍSTICA DE UN HIJO(A) DE DIOS

“Todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios, son hijos de Dios, pues no habéis recibido el espíritu de esclavitud para estar otra vez en temor, sino que habéis recibido el Espíritu de adopción, por el cual clamamos <>” (Romanos 8:14-15)
Cada hijo lleva los genes de sus padres o familiares en el físico como el color de los ojos... Mi hijo varón es tan parecido a mí, en todo, en la forma de mi cuerpo y hasta el modo de caminar.
Por la vía de contraste, miramos en la Biblia, el hijo de pecado y desobediencia a Dios, contra el hijo(a) guiado por el Espíritu Santo y obediente al Señor.
El hijo desobediente a Dios, vive bajo la ley, no tiene el poder para dejar de robar, mentir... y desagrada al Señor; en cambio el hijo de Dios, vive bajo la gracia, no abusa de la bondad de Dios al contrario vive bajo la guía y gobierno del Espíritu Santo.
El hijo de Dios, clama “Abba”, esta palabra griega indica cariño y significa “papacito” amado; esto es una característica de un genuino hijo(a) de Dios, tiene comunión con el Señor, ya no vive en temor y esclavitud de pecado, “todas las cosas le ayudan a bien” y es “más que vencedor en Cristo”.
La pregunta del millón es ¿Por qué hay cristianos, que no viven en victoria, con gozo, sino en amargura y esclavitud? Tal vez, viven de emociones, fiebres espirituales del momento, o no han conocido a Jesucristo como Señor y Salvador, o dejan que la carne o concupiscencias, gobiernen sus vidas.
El verdadero hijo(a) de Dios, se sujeta a Dios, a su cónyuge, a sus padres, a sus jefes, a sus compañeros y da fruto en todo. ¿Quién gobierna tu vida, la carne o el Espíritu Santo?

Señor perdona mi desobediencia, y toma control de mi corazón y que tu Espíritu me guíe a traer Gloria a tu nombre

Why I Tithe

MALACHI 3:10 ICB

10 Bring to the storehouse a tenth of what you gain. Then there will be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord of heaven's armies. "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out more blessings than you have room for.
Tithing is giving ten percent of your income to God.
While tithing is not a command given in the New Testament, what we do with our money is a test of our love and commitment to the Lord.
In truth, all we have as believers really belongs to the Lord. Ten percent is a low figure, yet it is a starting point. Sadly, one which many Christians have never reached.

I practice tithing to God because:
* Tithing is a way of expressing my worship in a tangible way.
God is worthy of my all -- my best -- and so much more. Nothing I could ever give would be sufficient, but that is no reason to do nothing. The money I give is tangible evidence that I do value God.
* The Lord promised blessing to those who tithe.
There are books full of testimonies from people -- even non- Christians -- who put God to the test, as He challenges us in Malachi 3:10, and found God faithful to prosper them, as He promised.

* Tithing is an act of faith, which pleases God.
It takes faith to give when you don't have enough. Many people do not tithe for this very reason; they are afraid God will not come through and take care of them.
I have experienced miraculous provision many times. I can testify that God is faithful, and will always, somehow, take care of His children who trust Him.
SAY THIS: Giving money to God is an act of worship.

“Por tanto, como el pecado entró en el mundo por un hombre y por el pecado la muerte, así la muerte pasó a todos los hombres, por cuanto todos pecaron” (Romanos 5:12)
Justificar es “declarar justo”, sin culpa. Por ejemplo, un padre castigaba a su hijo rebelde que no le obedecía; un día, el papá le dice al hijo, toma el látigo y pégame, el hijo vio a su padre con sangre y comprendió que su papá pagó el castigo en lugar de él. Justificar es declarar sin culpa.
En Adán, nuestro padre terrenal, tenemos un mal ejemplo, pues, él desobedeció a Dios, tuvo temor y vergüenza al pecar; y su pecado nos trajo muerte; en Adán hay separación de Dios, hay derrota, transgresión y culpa.
En Cristo, nuestro padre celestial, tenemos un excelente ejemplo; Él obedeció a Dios, no “cometió pecado” sino que llevó todas nuestras transgresiones en la cruz, para darnos vida en abundancia; en Cristo hay victoria, comunión con Dios y perdón de todos los pecados.
Hemos muerto al pecado, para vivir como siervos de la justicia, ahora somos santos, y personas nuevas, para ser solidarios, para amar, servir e interesarnos en saludar; en valores cristianos, como la honradez, el trabajo honesto, el estudio sin copiar, el dar la mano al huérfano.
Ahora estamos vivos para Dios, busquemos su rostro, su poder para vivir en santidad de vida y ser eficaces en nuestra comunidad. La vida en Cristo tiene sentido, no para aislarnos, sino para cumplir nuestro rol de sacerdotes y padres que guían a la familia a los valores del Reino.
Siga orando para que edifiquemos su vida y cambiemos vidas en el poder de Cristo.
ORACIÓN:
Padre, guía mi vida para santificado en privado y público, para servir con integridad y con valores cristianos a mi comunidad... Que pueda traer gloria a tu nombre.

Do You Believe In Love?

MATTHEW 5:44 NKJ

44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Most people believe in force: guns and armies.
Most people believe in money: "financial power."
Many people believe in education, that "If we just educate people enough we can change the world."
Hardly anyone seems to believe in the power of love to change things. No one seems to think it would do any good to "turn the other cheek."
Jesus didn't tell us to "turn the other cheek" just so we could get beat up more. Jesus believes in the power of love. Jesus believes that evil can be overcome with good.
ROMANS 12:20-21 NKJ
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
God still believes in the power of love. He believes that if you love enough, and for long enough, people will finally come to their senses and respond to that love.
JOHN 13:34-35 NIV
34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
Jesus said the mark of His believers would be their love. Where did we go wrong?
SAY THIS: Lord, help me to believe in love, and to act in love.

UNA PROMESA CONTRA LA NATURALEZA

“Ante la promesa de Dios no vaciló como un incrédulo, sino que se reafirmó en su fe y dio gloria a Dios, plenamente convencido de que Dios tenia poder para cumplir lo que había prometido” (Romanos 4:20-21)
Era una pareja que se amaba mucho; pero no tenían hijos; de pronto reciben la promesa de tener un hijo a pesar de ser ancianos, Sara no lo podía creer; pero sucedió, Abraham tuvo un hijo a los 100 años.
Dios es fiel, no hay nadie que se pueda jactar en su presencia y decir que es justo, pues escrito está: “No hay justo ni aún uno...” ante Dios hemos pecado y estamos destituidos; pero somos justificados por la fe en Cristo; Abraham lo fue por su en Dios y su promesa.
Ahora la ciencia puede hacer que una mujer anciana tenga un hijo propio, pero no es 100% garantizado. Hace unos 4.000 años atrás, ya Dios hizo que Sara una mujer anciana de unos 90 años diera a luz a Isaac, es increíble, pero tuvo su hijo.
Es interesante “Contra toda esperanza, Abraham creyó y esperó, y llegó a ser padre de muchas naciones”, claro que Abraham también tuvo un hijo ilegítimo con Agar su esclava; y cuya descendencia es atribuida a los árabes, hasta hoy creen que son hijo de Abraham; pero Isaac es hijo de la promesa y su descendencia es Israel y todo creyente en Cristo.
Cree en el Señor, aún cuando todo parezca ilógico. Mi esposa y yo después de varios años de espera, tuvimos fe que nos daría una hija, y así fue; él obró a pesar que la ciencia decía que ella no podía concebir. Dios premia tu fe, y contesta de acuerdo a su voluntad.
Sus oraciones son claves para que surjan inversionistas para cambiar vidas en el poder de Cristo.
ORACIÓN:
Señor pongo mi fe, en que tu contestarás a mi necesidad de acuerdo a tu voluntad. Gracias porque creo que tu eres fiel a tu Palabra..

Jesus Became Poor . . .

2 CORINTHIANS 8:9 NKJ

9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
Most people know that Jesus became poor. They just don't know why.
Some people may tell you this verse refers only to being made "spiritually rich." Don't fall for that. Look at the context and you will see it is discussing money.
"Then why aren't Christians rich?"
The main reason is because of a lack of teaching on this subject. Everything we receive from God must be received by faith. If we don't believe it, we won't receive it.
(Jesus died so that everyone could be saved. However, until people hear the message and believe it, they continue lost in their sins. Yet the price has already been paid by Jesus for their freedom.)
Instead of teaching that prosperity is a blessing available to believers, most churches have taught the opposite -- that it was the will of God for us to be poor.
What we need is to hear preaching and teaching about it being God's will for us to prosper. We need to continue in the Word on that subject, to be set free in that area of life.
I am NOT saying being prosperous makes you a better person, or that it is a sign of great faith. I AM saying that poverty and lack is part of the curse -- which Jesus redeemed us from.
God's prosperity is a growing thing that will not destroy you, unlike winning the lottery, or other get-rich-quick schemes. Time and continued obedience to God are required.
But the fact remains, according to Scripture, Jesus became poor to set you free from poverty -- to make you rich.
SAY THIS: Jesus became poor to make me rich.

“Porque desde la creación del mundo las cualidades invisibles de Dios, es decir, su eterno poder y su naturaleza divina, se perciben claramente a través de lo que él creó, de modo que nadie tiene excusa” (Romanos 1:20)
La clásica pregunta ¿Qué pasa con aquellas personas que no oyeron el mensaje del Evangelio? La respuesta es obvia, ellos pudieron ver el sol, la naturaleza; y así Dios les testificó de su poder, serán juzgados, cada cual de acuerdo a la luz de la revelación de Dios que recibieron.
El libro de Romanos escrito por Pablo, alrededor del año 55-60 DC, es un tratado teológico, escribe según Guthrie, para “dejar sentada su verdadera intención de visitar a los cristianos de Roma”.
El Apóstol de los gentiles, habla del poder del Evangelio, que “el justo por la fe vivirá” y de la ira de Dios contra el pecado. Que Dios juzga, con o sin ley; que la circuncisión está en el corazón.
Dios se revela o da a conocer por medio de su Palabra y el Señor Jesús, también se lo puede conocer por la revelación de la naturaleza, es decir que “su eterno poder y su naturaleza divina, se perciben claramente a través de lo que él creó” así ninguna persona tiene excusa.
Quien adora a una criatura, o una cosa y pervierte su conducta, Dios lo abandona a su “suerte”, y a pasiones vergonzosas. Por eso, es mejor buscar el perdón de Dios, adorarlo y obedecerlo. Tenemos la revelación de Dios en la naturaleza y en la sexualidad sana, por eso, busque adorar y servir solamente al Señor para una misión divina que obedece la Biblia Para seguir edificando vidas es clave su oración.
ORACIÓN:
Señor te adoró solamente a ti, líbrame de perversión sexual.

We Receive From God By Faith

MATTHEW 9:29 NKJ

29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."
Have you ever wondered why God blessed someone -- when it was obvious they did not deserve it?
Do you wonder why you are not more blessed -- even though you are doing your best to be a good Christian?
The answer is faith.
We do not receive from God based on what we deserve, but on what we believe.
GALATIANS 3:9 ICB
9 Abraham believed this, and because he believed, he was blessed. It is the same today. All who believe today are blessed just as Abraham was blessed.
Our receiving from God is not based on our works, but on God's grace. We have access to God's grace by our faith -- not through our merit.
ROMANS 5:2 NKJ
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand . . . .
Many try to earn something from God when He has already given us all things through Christ. Now by faith we must appropriate what God has provided.
Don't despair if your faith is not too strong. The cure for weak faith is to feed on the Word of God, the Bible.
ROMANS 10:17 NKJ
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If you feed your heart and mind the Word of God, your faith will grow strong. You feed it in by reading it, hearing it, speaking it, and meditating on it.
SAY THIS: I will feed on God's Word and my faith will grow. Then I will receive all God has for me.

“Y predicaba el reino de Dios y enseñaba acerca del Señor Jesucristo sin impedimento y sin temor alguno” (Hechos 28:31)
La figura del soldado romano, nos recuerda, que llevaba un casco, el yelmo, la coraza, el cinturón, las sandalias, el escudo y la espada. Pablo, estuvo custodiado por un soldado, mientras predicaba el Evangelio.
Pablo hace su defensa ante el rey Agripa y relata su conversión y como obedeció a la visión celestial; posteriormente es enviado a Roma, junto a los presos en una barca; después de varios días hay una tempestad en el mar; donde sufre un naufragio; la gente logra salvarse en tablas y llegan a una Isla de Malta, dónde sana los enfermos y es bien tratado.
Posteriormente, Pablo es llevado a Roma, dónde en una casa alquilada predicaba del reino de Dios. Esto enseña, que la aventura en Cristo, es dura, pero vale la pena servir al Señor y anunciar al pecador, la paz en Jesucristo.
Predica la Palabra, no temas, que el Señor está contigo, lleva amor, paz y esperanza al necesitado de las buenas nuevas. En tu vecindario o en otro país, allí Dios quiere usarte. Habla lo que el Señor ha hecho en ti y deja que el Señor obre. Hoy millones de personas se mueren, predica a uno, hazlo un discípulo de Cristo, reprodúcete en él y sigue creciendo.
Ingeniemos maneras de hablar de Cristo a nuestros paisanos, es hora de cristianizar a nuestra comunidad, comencemos con nuestra familia, vecinos y amigos, pero con una vida decente. Siga orando por nosotros. Estamos para servirle.
ORACIÓN:
Padre, toma mi boca para testificar, mis pies para visitar, mis manos para servir; y mi vida para amarte siempre...

Why I Speak In Tongues

1 CORINTHIANS 14:18 NIV

18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.
Speaking in tongues is speaking in a language you have never learned. It is a supernatural act possible only by the help of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
MARK 16:17 NKJ
17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
It is estimated that today over 500 million Christians, in every country on earth, do speak in tongues. It started on the day of Pentecost, as recorded in Acts 2:4.
ACTS 2:4 NKJ
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Every believer can speak in tongues, if they desire. It is a free gift available to all believers.
1 CORINTHIANS 14:5 NKJ
5 I wish you all spoke with tongues . . . .
I think this doctrine has been so controversial because the devil is against it, knowing how helpful it is to believers.
I have no desire to argue with anyone. I do desire to see everyone enjoy all the benefits God has freely provided for us.
I speak in tongues because:
* It allows me to communicate with God better. There are things my mind just cannot put into words which I can express through the spirit by praying in tongues.
1 CORINTHIANS 14:2 NKJ
2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God . . . .
* It builds me up spiritually and refreshes me.
1 CORINTHIANS 14:4 NKJ
4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself . . . .
There are other benefits. I hope you are enjoying them, too.

“Hemos descubierto que este hombre es una plaga que por todas partes anda provocando disturbios entre los judíos. Es cabecilla de la secta de los nazarenos” (Hechos 24:5)
Secta o herejía, es todo aquel camino, enseñanza o práctica religiosa que pone en riesgo la unidad del (propio) grupo religioso. Actualmente se usa el término para designar a un sinfín de expresiones religiosas que no tiene nada que ver con la de uno. (Duarte. Sectas. CLAI. 1995)
La realidad es que creemos que otros son las sectas y no nosotros; hay grupos religiosos que consideran a los protestantes como sectas; sin analizar, las doctrinas y servicio a la comunidad, sólo porque son una “amenaza” para su tradicional religiosidad; incluso para los sectarios que tergiversan la Biblia y “lavan el cerebro” de sus adeptos, enviando a que visiten por las casas y dividan congregaciones cristianas.
Pablo fue calumniado como una “plaga, que provoca disturbios entre los judíos, que es cabeza de una secta de los nazarenos”. Pablo siguió adelante a pesar de las oposiciones; pues, testificó de Cristo, a Félix y autoridades romanas como Festo, Agripa y Berenice.
Si predicas con integridad de vida y testificas con valor de Cristo, no temas, aunque te amenazan de muerte, o de acusen falsamente. Teme si es cierto, pero si no lo es, adelante, el Señor está contigo para ayudarte. Hoy relata tu conversión y dale la gloria al Señor que te restauró.
Seguimos animando y edificando la Iglesia de Jesucristo. Tus oraciones y ofrendas son claves para cambiar la sociedad en el poder de Cristo... Sigue trabajando y testificando. Adora al Señor y sirve a tu comunidad.

Gracias por los hijos, y por la casa para los que necesitamos.

Why Are There Delays?

JAMES 1:2-4 NIV

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Why are prayers not all answered instantly? Why don't we always experience the blessings promised in the Bible immediately?
If all results were instant, we could never walk in faith. Without faith, we could never please God. (Hebrews 11:6)
If you always reaped the harvest of your deeds immediately, the incentive to do right and refrain from wrongdoing would only be selfish. No faith, or love for God, would be required.
During delays we have opportunity to demonstrate whether we really love God, and trust Him, or not.
A delay is a test. Without testing, there could be no reward. God does not test us so that we can fail, but so that we can overcome. He believes we will make it with His help.
We desire an instant manifestation of victory. God's desire is for us to press into Him and His Word and walk in faith until we see victory.
To overcome there must be opposition and struggle. God cannot always shield us from problems without taking away from us the privilege of overcoming.
Victory is sweet. What makes it sweet is that it is not easy.
If we really trust God, time is not a problem. Leave that with God. His timing is perfect and He is dependable! We know He promised, and can never fail -- and that is enough.
SAY THIS: I will persevere in faith, and the Bible says I will end up not lacking anything.

“Pablo se quedó mirando fijamente al Consejo y dijo: -Hermanos, hasta hoy yo he actuad delante de Dios con toda buena conciencia” (Hechos 23:1)
La conciencia en Sicología, permite a un individuo que analice a la luz de la experiencia su personalidad, mientras que en la Biblia, es nuestro corazón que nos reprende cuando hacemos algo malo.
Pablo relata la experiencia que tuvo, cuando perseguía a la Iglesia del Señor para matar a su gente; un día una luz intensa del cielo y una voz le decía “Saulo, porque me persigues”. Se va a Damasco, Ananías lo atiende, ora por él y Pablo recibe la vista, y va a predicar a los gentiles; posteriormente ante el Concilio confiesa que “ha vivido con limpia conciencia delante de Dios”.
Se trama un complot contra Pablo, un grupo mayor a cuarenta judíos bajo maldición dijeron que no “comerían ni beberían hasta haber dado muerte a Pablo”; felizmente, un sobrino de la víctima le avisa, y Dios lo libró al ser enviado a Félix, el gobernador.
¿Andas con limpia conciencia delante de Dios? Seamos íntegros en lo secreto de nuestro corazón, como en lugar público. ¿Hay manchas en el altar de tu corazón? Si las hay confiesa tu pecado al Señor para que te limpie de toda maldad.
Para tener una conciencia limpia, confiesa tu pecado como dice 1 Juan 1:9, luego pide al Señor que el Espíritu Santo te guíe. Obedece la Biblia y sirve a la Iglesia, visita, anima, testifica y ayuda al pobre. Honra a Dios.
Hoy tengamos presente que Dios nos mira; agradémosle en todo.
Siga orando por sabiduría, santidad y salud para seguir edificando vidas.
ORACIÓN:
Perdona Señor si en mi corazón hay una molécula de malicia y ayúdame a caminar en integridad para honrarte y servirte.

Be Slow To Speak

19 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,
How many times have you said something and later regretted it?
Too often we practice: Speak now and think later.
What would happen if you silently consulted with God before speaking? If you thought about, and prayed about, everything you said -- before you said it -- your life would be different.

10 If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies.
Words are powerful and should be used to accomplish a purpose. Don't just talk for no reason.
PROVERBS 17:28 NIV
28 Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.
Remember, you can always learn more by listening than you can by talking.
Be slow to speak!

“Con mi ejemplo les he demostrado que es preciso trabajar duro para ayudar a los necesitados, recordando las palabras del Señor Jesús: Hay más dicha en dar que en recibir” (Hechos 20:35)
Generosa, es una persona dadivosa, que da sin interés; en contraste con el tacaño, que no da nada; y vive solamente recibiendo. Mientras el generoso, da con gozo, el mezquino, se queja de lo que gasta.
El Apóstol Pablo sigue en sus viajes misioneros a Macedonia, Grecia, Mileto y en Jerusalén, donde lo arrestan y tiene que hacer su defensa, la que aprovecha para testificar de Cristo.
Que sensible era Pablo y que discurso emotivo que se manda; apela al corazón de los hermanos que lo abrazan y besan con cariño, ante su partida. El gran Apóstol y misionero, trabajó duro a favor de los pobres y ayudó mucho a los hermanos, y enseñó a hacer generoso para seguir el ejemplo de Cristo, que lo dio todo por amor.
Ah, si tuviéramos líderes y hermanos(as) generosos, no codiciosos al dinero; otro fuera el cantar de la obra misionera y evangelística del país. Tuviéramos más dinero, más bienes y recursos a nuestra disposición; pero cuando hay tacañería, se pone obstáculo para que otros conozcan al Señor.
Da con gozo y satisfacción como al Señor y nunca ofrendes con tristeza. Este Ministerio sigue dando ánimo, consejos, doctrina, pero necesita su inversión para cambiar vidas en el poder del Espíritu Santo. Hoy decide dar tiempo al Señor y adóralo. Sirva al Señor con sus dones, talentos y oficio, para que la Iglesia siga creciendo y haciendo la misión divina.
Hay gozo cuando se da, aprendamos a ser generosos...
ORACIÓN:
Señor libera mi vida de tacañería, que pueda dar con gozo, porque eres digno de todo Honor y Gloria.

The Holy Spirit Will Teach You

26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
What a wonderful, patient teacher the Holy Spirit is!
This teacher has no limits. He never has to call on anyone else for an answer. He knows everything.
Whatever you are doing, He can help you -- and teach you how to do it better. Just ask.
Jesus said it, "He will teach you all things."
I love the story of George Washington Carver, who asked God to teach him about the peanut -- then changed our world with the knowledge he gained of the peanut.
Do not hesitate to ask God to teach you about even the smallest things. He understands every detail and is never too busy for you.
From child raising to atomic science --
He is the most knowledgable and capable teacher.
And the Holy Spirit is always available! No need to wait for office hours to call on this professor. Call on Him anytime.
SAY THIS: The Holy Spirit is teaching me.

“Estos eran de sentimientos más nobles que los de Tesalónica, de modo que recibieron el mensaje con toda avidez y todos los días examinaban las Escrituras para ver si era verdad lo que se les anunciaba” (Hechos 17:11)
Hay ciudades realmente maravillosas con paisajes, parques, edificios, gente; cada una tiene su cultura, y hasta sus creencias; es interesante como la Biblia habla de las ciudades, su gente, su dios y su estilo de vida.
Atenas, hoy capital de Grecia, fue el centro más importante del arte, la filosofía y la literatura, en la antigüedad. Ya en los tiempos de Pablo su importancia comercial y política había disminuido, aunque seguía siendo un importante centro cultural e intelectual (RV95)
Tesalónica fue un puerto principal de Macedonia, allí Pablo discutió y expuso la Escritura; luego en Berea, la gente recibió con toda solicitud la Palabra, y la estudiaron para comprobar si era correcta la doctrina y lo que se enseñaba. Esto nos enseña, a examinar todo lo que leemos, oímos y vemos sobre la Biblia.
En Atenas, Pablo sabiamente predicó sobre “El Dios no conocido” en el Areópago, ante filósofos, enseñándonos a partir de un elemento cultural para luego testificar de nuestro Dios. Luego, Pablo viaja a Corinto, y se hace amigo de Aquila y Priscila; trabaja en hacer tiendas, para después dedicarse a la predicación. Posteriormente viaja a Efeso, ciudad de la diosa Diana, allí en medio de oposición, también les habla de Cristo.
Estudie su ciudad, ore por ella y anuncie que Cristo es la respuesta. Le animo a que ore para que la gente escuche el programa y tenga a Cristo en su vida. Adore al Señor, ahora.
ORACIÓN:
Señor obra en mi ciudad para que te adoren sólo a ti, úsame para testificar de tu poder transformador y te conozcan como Salvador..

Sing A New Song

PSALM 96:1 NIV

1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
No doubt God, who makes every snowflake different, enjoys new things.
Five times Scripture tells us to sing to the Lord a new song.
You, with God's help, can sing a song to the Lord that's never been sung before.
Don't say you can't do it! God made your mouth and He can give you words to sing.
God is a Creator, and you are His child. Step out in faith. Ask the Lord to help you.
PSALM 105:2 NASB
2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; speak of all His wonders.
Get by yourself and practice. Sing a new song. Make it up as you go. If you mess up, God won't laugh at you. It may not be very good. But every parent cherishes their child's first attempts.
Make a joyful noise.
Rejoice in the Lord. Both you and the Lord will enjoy it.

After you practice in private, you may even want to try it in public.

“A eso de la medianoche, Pablo y Silas se pusieron a orar y a cantar himnos a Dios, y los otros presos los escuchaban” (Hechos 16:25)
La música es clave en todo acto oficial, un himno al país, una música clásica, un himno, una alabanza a Dios, una música nupcial - romántica es importante. Pablo y Silas alabaron a Dios con himnos, en clara señal de agradecimiento al Señor, a pesar del sufrimiento.
Hay un concilio en Jerusalén y en esta Asamblea después de discutir sobre los gentiles, se acordó no poner trabas al Evangelio de la gracia de Dios para los gentiles y siguieron evangelizando. Lidia una mujer importante se convierte al Evangelio. Pablo y Silas van a la cárcel la causa, liberaron a una muchacha con espíritu de adivinación que los perturbaba y como sus dueños perdieron dinero, los calumniaron y una multitud después de azotarlos, los pusieron en la cárcel.
Es interesante notar que tanto Pablo como Silas alabaron a Dios a pesar de la golpiza que sufrieron por causa de predicar el Evangelio de Cristo; Dios se manifestó con un temblor, el oficial carcelario pensó que los presos huyeron, iba a suicidarse y Pablo lo impide, él le dice “¿Qué tengo que hacer para ser salvo? –cree en el Señor Jesús” le dijo Pablo y este hombre recibe a Cristo, es bautizado y lava las heridas de Pablo.
Anunciar el Evangelio nos puede traer problemas, cerradas de puertas, burlas, y hasta calumnias de religiosos; pero igual se debe vivir la Palabra, ayudar, consolar al que lo necesita y pagar el precio para que otros conozcan al Señor, y alabarlo en toda circunstancia.
Su oración e inversión, es necesaria, esperamos su ayuda. Adore a Dios.
ORACIÓN:
Señor te alabo con todo mi ser, esclavo fui, más tu me libraste. Te alabo porque tengo la vida eterna en ti...

Sin Hurts

ROMANS 6:23 ICB

23 When someone sins, he earns what sin pays--death. But God gives us a free gift--life forever in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Sin is a teacher whose lessons are hard and painful.
You can't keep your hand in fire without being burned. And you can't sin without hurting people.
Sin harms humans. That's why God classifies it as sin. All sin hurts someone. The reason God is against sin is because He is for people.
Because sin has consequences, it eventually will convince you of the error of sinning -- if you live long enough. But why ruin your life finding out what you can know now just by reading the Bible?
God is not a killjoy. His purpose is not to keep the human race from enjoying life.
All that God has written in the Bible is for our benefit. God already knows everything. He gave us the Bible so we could know the truth.
The truth is: sin is bad. Sin hurts.
SAY THIS: Sin is deadly and I want nothing to do with it.

“Ellos enviados por el Espíritu Santo, descendieron a Seleucia, y de allí navegaron a Chipre. Al llegar a Salamina, anunciaban la palabra de Dios en las sinagogas de los judíos...” (Hechos 13:4)
Un misionero(a), tiene la misión de proclamar a Jesús como Salvador y Señor; tiene que estar preparado, capacitado, y disponible para ir a las regiones más necesitadas para encarnarse en la cultura y servirla. Hoy se necesitan misioneros disponibles para ir al medio oriente.
Es interesante notar que la Iglesia bajo la guía del Espíritu Santo envío misioneros a regiones necesitas de la Palabra de Dios. La Iglesia ora, prepara, sustenta con sus ofrendas y envía a sus misioneros para ir a predicar el Evangelio de Cristo.
El precio de predicar a Jesucristo, es alto, cuesta incomprensión de parte de los receptores del mensaje, quienes pueden aceptar o rechazar. A más de sentirse amenazados por una “nueva religión”, la gente incita a otros para el fanatismo y expulsar a los misioneros, como paso con Pablo y Bernabé, que los creyeron dioses, para después apedrearlos. El caso es que ellos evangelizaron, dejaron discípulos y establecieron ancianos, quienes llevaron adelante la obra.
Aprendamos a visitar un lugar, respetando su cultura, pero al riesgo de la vida, predicar de Jesucristo como el Salvador. Demos esperanza, paz y seamos agentes de reconciliación y de ayuda a la comunidad.
Las misiones guiadas por el Espíritu Santo, dan Gloria a Dios, edifica la Iglesia, sirve a la comunidad. El misionero flojo que se va de turismo y se concentra en ciudades cómodas y no hace misión en zonas pobres y necesitadas, quien sabe si es realmente una persona misionera. Oremos para una misión correcta, guiada por Dios y dirigida por la Iglesia.
ORACIÓN:
Padre, que tu Espíritu me guíe y use para que otra gente de otras naciones te conozcan, pero empieza con mi vecino que esta cerca.

Rejoice In The Lord

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 NIV

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
No matter how bad things are around you, you can always rejoice in the Lord.
God is good -- even when circumstances are bad.
You can look beyond the temporary problems of life and focus on the Eternal God and His goodness. You can rejoice that God loves you and that you have a home in Heaven.
If you only rejoice when you feel like it -- and circumstances warrant it -- you may never rejoice much. But you will miss a lot of joy. For when you rejoice in the Lord and focus on Him, joy begins to flow out of your inner being and strengthens you.
This is God's answer for depression. Focus on God. Rejoice in Him, and receive the spiritual strength you need to carry on in victory.

"Yet I WILL." Whenever you decide to, you can rejoice. In spite of feelings and circumstances, you can choose to rejoice.

“Dios el Señor tomó al hombre y lo puso en el jardín del Edén para que lo cultivara y lo cuidara” (Génesis 2:15)
“El trabajar se lo dejó al buey, porque el trabajo lo hizo Dios como castigo” cantaba Rolando La Serie. Que falacia, cuando Dios creó al hombre e inventó al trabajo como una bendición, una sana ocupación para responsabilidad y disfrute del ser humano.
Adán tenía comunión íntima con Dios, y además tenía la responsabilidad de trabajar al cultivar el hermoso jardín del Edén y de administrarlo. El principio es, disfruta de la comunión con Dios y disfruta de tu trabajo, con eficacia y efectividad hazlo todo.
Sin embargo, hoy se trabaja en exceso y hay quienes caen en el estrés y se enferman; otros en cambio, caen en la holgazanería, trabajan poco, y no son productivos y así el país, se tarda en progresar. Lo ideal es no caer en extremos, sino trabajar y disfrutar.
Hay que trabajar, pero hay quienes caen en la trabajolatría y viene la crisis familiar. Otros en cambio necesitan trabajar, porque hay un alto índice de desempleo y subempleo. El trabajo debe ser combinado con periodos cortos de disfrute y recreo. Concentrarse es vital, buscando el descanso cada fin de semana.
Aprendamos de Dios, quien trabajó con creatividad, organización, pasión y descansó de toda obra. Disfrutemos del Señor, hagamos nuestra tarea con amor, inteligencia y la motivación de servir al prójimo, trabajando duro y descansando para renovarse.
Hoy se hacen manifestaciones por el “día del trabajo” en memoria de trabajadores que fueron asesinados por defender sus derechos, pero recuerde su derecho termina cuando comienza el del otro. No paralicemos al país, quemando llantas, dañando los bienes y tirando piedras, cada empresa necesita trabajar y salir adelante.
Hoy es clave trabajar, aunque el sueldo no alcance, y sobre todo trabajemos como para el Señor, porque de Él viene la recompensa. Gracias a Dios por el trabajo. Ore para que sigamos trabajando.

Señor gracias por el trabajo que me das, guíame a ser efectivo cada día..

Beware Of Pride

PROVERBS 16:18 NIV

18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
Pride is deadly. But instead of warning us the world encourages pride in every way.
What is pride?
Pride is faith in yourself, instead of faith in God.
The root of pride is selfishness: putting yourself first. Thinking you are the most important. Thinking you know the most. Thinking you deserve better than someone else.
Pride will cause you to go your own way instead of God's way. Pride makes you think you do not need God's advice or help.
Pride is the root of all sin. It causes you to turn away from God instead of turning to Him. All disobedience has pride as its root. All rebellion has pride behind it. All mistreatment of other people is caused by pride: putting yourself and your feelings above the other person and their feelings.
The world system promotes people who are proud, and often gives them great riches. Jesus said pride is evil and defiles a person. (Mark 7:21-23)
While the world may promote the proud for a short time, their fame and success will not last.
JAMES 4:6 NKJ
6 . . . "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
Pride is the most serious, and the most subtle, sin. It often goes unrecognized.
Beware!

“Así que Pedro estaba custodiado en la cárcel, pero la iglesia hacía sin cesar oración a Dios por él” (Hechos 12:5)
“Tanto da el agua al cántaro, que éste al fin se rompe” este refrán dice que la continua agua que cae en la roca, hace que ésta se rompa; y cuán importante es la constancia en todos los actos de la vida. La Iglesia oró sin cesar, con persistencia y Dios obró.
Pedro testifica como Dios lo guío a vencer su prejuicio cultural para testificar al gentil Cornelio, luego explica como el Espíritu Santo obró en estas personas salvas.
La Iglesia estaba dispersa, a causa de la persecución sobre ella y el caso de Esteban. En ese tiempo estaba Bernabé, un hombre “bueno, lleno del Espíritu Santo y de fe”, tres características necesarias en todo líder cristiano, hoy en día.
El perverso rey Herodes manda a matar a Jacobo y prender a Pedro, la Iglesia en vez de utilizar la influencia política en la corte, o hacer huelgas oró sin cesar, y Dios contestó la oración ferviente, enviando un ángel para sacar de la cárcel a Pedro. Luego Herodes al no dar la gloria a Dios muere herido por un ángel.
La enseñanza es obvia, ore sin cesar, con fervor; porque esa oración es la que prevalece ante el Señor. Hoy insista con fe, y deje que Dios obre para gloria de su nombre y edificación de su vida.
La Iglesia Hispana ha orado para que surjan misioneros, y hoy vemos que Dios ha levantado una misiología, o misión cristiana, para ir a EE.UU a España, Italia... Europa, Asía, África... Alabado sea el Señor...
ORACIÓN:
Señor usa tu iglesia para sanar rencores, para perdonar al arrepentido y guiar al creyente a testificar con valentía de Cristo.

Pray To Be Enlightened

EPHESIANS 1:18 NIV

18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
There is much we don't know.
In fact, the most spiritual among us has only glimpsed a part of God's plan. The Apostle Paul said that he only "knew in part."
So, with the Apostle Paul we should pray that "the eyes of our heart may be enlightened." For ourselves, and for others, too.
If study alone was the answer, those who have studied the Bible the most would have the most faith, and would be doing the most exploits in God's name. Often, the opposite is true.
Thank God for scholarship, but that is not the total answer.
The Bible is a living message given by a living Author. Fellowship with God and illumination from Him are necessary for full understanding from the Bible.
Our prayer needs to be that of the Psalmist.
PSALM 119:18 NKJ
18 Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.
You may have wondered why you see some things clearly in the Bible that your friends or loved ones seem blinded to.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:4 NIV
4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
The answer is that, somehow, our hearts and minds need opened or illuminated by God. This is a reason, and a way, to pray for your unsaved loved ones.

14 One of those listening was a woman named Lydia . . . The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.

“-¡Ve! insistió el Señor, porque ese hombre es mi instrumento escogido para dar a conocer mi nombre tanto a las naciones y a sus reyes como al pueblo de Israel” (Hechos 9:15)
La tecnología de la comunicación cada día nos vuelve vecinos y hace sentirnos acompañados y actualizados en las noticias. El satélite, la TV, la radio, la computadora, el Internet, la prensa... son medios útiles en las manos de Dios para comunicar su mensaje de esperanza y salvación.
Ahora tenemos al famoso Saulo de Tarso, quien mataba a los discípulos del Señor; pero un día se le apareció el Señor Jesús, ante quien cayó al suelo, cegado por el resplandor de una fuerte luz, fue llevado a la ciudad en donde Ananías lo orientó, pues, era un instrumento de Dios para comunicar el Evangelio a todas las naciones, incluyendo Israel.
Saulo de la ciudad de Tarso, más tarde el Apóstol Pablo, predicó ante el miedo de los discípulos, en Damasco y Jerusalén. Surgen dos personas simpáticas, Eneas y Tabitas ambos sanados por el Señor.
Mientras tanto, el Apóstol Pedro, lleno de prejuicio fue guiado por el Espíritu Santo para predicarle al filántropo Cornelio un militar de alto rango, quien recibe al Señor y es bautizado con el Espíritu Santo y su vida fue totalmente transformada. Pedro fue usado por el Señor.
Usted y yo, somos las manos del Señor, toquemos a los perdidos, a los necesitados de salvación eterna y de salud física para ser “sal y luz” y la gente glorifique a Dios, al mirar su poder. Es hora del Reino de Dios.
Hoy deje que el Señor lo use para ser un canal de ayuda y testimonio al que lo necesita. Anime, consuele, y comparta a Cristo al pecador.
ORACIÓN:
Padre, usa mi vida para testificar de Cristo y su Evangelio...

Your Every Hair Is Numbered

Luke 12:7 ICB

7 Yes, God even knows how many hairs you have on your head. Don't be afraid. You are worth much more than many sparrows.
Jesus gave us some insight on how much God is interested in us as humans. God provides for sparrows, and you are MUCH more valuable to God than any sparrow. Valuable enough to monitor every detail about you -- even your current hair-count.
However God obtains your current hair-count -- He does know it. "Why would God waste His time with such useless information?" you may wonder. The point, which so many miss, is simply that God is interested in every detail of your life. Everything.
Nothing concerning you is too big or too small to bother God. You are the "apple of His eye" just as any young child is the delight of a good parent.

So don't try to hide from God. Don't shut Him out of your life. Involve Him in every detail of your day. Talk things over with Him. Ask His advice. Tell Him what you think, and ask for His opinion.
And do not fear. The God Who loves you enough to monitor your current hair count will never forsake you or fail you. When you are face-to-face with Him you will see that fully and clearly. So walk in faith today. Trust God. He loves you.
Also, be thankful for whatever hair you do or do not have! God made you unique. If He wanted you different -- He would have made you different!
SAY THIS: Thank you Lord for loving me and being concerned with every detail of my life. Because You love me, I will trust you and look to You for help in both the small and the large questions of life.

APRENDAMOS A TESTIFICAR COMO FELIPE

“Entonces Felipe, abriendo su boca y comenzando desde esta Escritura, le anunció el Evangelio de Jesús” (Hechos 8:35)
Para ser un comunicador de las buenas nuevas, se necesita conocer al Señor para ser su portavoz; tener personalidad, integridad y sujeción a la familia, la iglesia y el Ministerio dónde labora.
El contexto histórico y social de la época muestra una Iglesia asolada por un tal Saulo de Tarso; además de pasar por una gran persecución. Surge la persona de Felipe un evangelista que es usado por Dios, y por medio de él se convierte Simón el Mago, posteriormente, un Eunuco, funcionario de la Reina de Candace.
Felipe fue obediente, primero un Ángel del Señor le ordenó que viaje de Jerusalén a Gaza para testificar al Eunuco; luego el Espíritu Santo le dijo que se acerque al carro y le explique el Evangelio al lector del libro de Isaías, y en efecto Felipe lo hizo y le anunció el Evangelio de Cristo y bautizó al Eunuco.
Ah, si tuviéramos la disposición, la sujeción y el corazón para servir al Señor obedeciendo su mandato de predicar el Evangelio al mundo, con la preparación, estrategia, planes y acciones para evangelizar, otra sería nuestra comunidad, con personas más justas y llenas de paz.
Estos días hemos visto personas que han hecho decisiones de fe, en campañas evangelísticas dentro de la Iglesia, en visitas por casas, en testimonios personales. Cualquiera que sea el método, dejemos obrar al Espíritu Santo para que convierta de pecado al incrédulo y santifique al creyente.
Nuestra tarea es la de testificar y ayudar en el crecimiento del nuevo, es por esto clave su oración e inversión para seguir en este Ministerio...
¿Has testificado de Cristo a tu familia? Anda y hazlo en el poder de Dios.
ORACIÓN:
Señor toma mi vida, dame sabiduría y valor para testificar a mi vecino(a) que te necesita...

You Have A Purpose

2 TIMOTHY 1:9 NKJ

9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
You have a purpose in life, a job to do, a mission to fulfill.
You are here for a reason.
What is it?
Ask God. He knows.
EPHESIANS 1:11 NIV
11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
Of course, I can only answer that question in general terms.
If you are a parent, raising your child is important. Helping a friend is important. You never know how your actions may affect the world -- even through helping just one person.
Don't just wait around for some "big purpose" -- for with God all the details are important -- even the "small" ones.
If you don't know your purpose, just do whatever you can to help the people around you. Through that, and walking with God, you will accomplish your purpose.
SAY THIS: I was born for a purpose. God has a plan for me.

“-¡Veo el cielo abierto –exclamó-, y al Hijo del hombre de pie a la derecha de Dios!... Mientras lo apedreaban, Esteban oraba. –Señor Jesús –decía-, recibe mi espíritu” (Hechos 7:56,59)
Un predicador nato, vive lleno del Espíritu, sabe estudiar y trazar un texto bíblico, se sujeta a él y predica con valor, fidelidad y claridad, para edificar, consolar o exhortar al que lo necesita.
Esteban fue acusado ante el Consejo de haber blasfemado contra Dios y Moisés, él se defendió narrando un sermón histórico, hizo remembranza de la vida Abraham y sus descendientes; habló de Moisés, Josué, David, Salomón y los acusa de ser tercos y de resistir al Espíritu Santo, el resultado de este mensaje fue el rechinar de dientes, la cólera de los líderes religiosos y apedrear a Esteban, hasta matarlo.
Es obvio, que no debemos predicar con ira, hiriendo susceptibilidades; pero hay ocasiones, en que debemos ser valientes para proclamar el mensaje fielmente como lo hizo Esteban, ante una persecución de líderes que creían tener a Dios, pero servían al maligno.
El mensaje de ser basado en la Biblia, dejar que ella edifique, desafíe o interpele cada conciencia y obre en la persona que escucha la Palabra. Cuando esto sucede, no manipulamos al oyente. Es hora de predicar con vigor y claridad la Biblia, edificando y exhortando al que lo necesita.
Juan Wesley, después de predicar decía: “O se convierten o se enojan”.Le animo a predicar con pasión, además apóyenos orando para que Dios nos use al cambiar vidas para que sirvan a Cristo. Vivimos para edificar la Iglesia.
Le animo a testificar en el poder del Espíritu. Lea, medite y testifique es una buena manera de servir al Señor... (Autor aloce)

Keep Your Eyes On The Prize

PHILIPPIANS 3:14 KJV

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
What will really matter at the end of your life on earth?
Will what you are giving attention to now still be important then?

Or, will you be filled with regret for what you did -- or didn't do?
Distractions abound. TV, phone calls, web sites, books, movies.
It might be a good idea to stop and evaluate how you are investing your time. 1 CORINTHIANS 9:24 NIV
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Run to win. Win what?
The true prize is to know God intimately and be His friend.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:18 NIV
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
One day, possibly soon, you will stand before God. Why not order your life now based on that "final reckoning?"
A wise person would not invest everything in something temporary. A wise person invests in something that will last.
Invest your life wisely!

“Hermanos, escojan de entre ustedes a siete hombres de buena reputación, llenos del Espíritu y de sabiduría, para encargarles esta responsabilidad. Así nosotros nos dedicaremos de lleno a la oración y al ministerio de la palabra” (Hechos 6:3-4)
La Iglesia es un organismo, establecida por Jesucristo, es una asamblea de creyentes redimidos por la sangre de Cristo, para adorar a Dios, para proclamar el Evangelio del Señor y servir al prójimo en mutua comunión
La Iglesia no es perfecta, y ya en sus orígenes vemos a un Ananías con Safira su mujer, que aparentaron dar todo generosamente, pero dieron solo una parte; ellos podían dar lo que sea; pero impresionaron a todos, menos al Espíritu Santo; y fueron disciplinados por Dios, al precio de sus vidas. Los Apóstoles a más de sanar al cojo de nacimiento y causar una revolución, sanaron a otras personas y sufrieron persecución.
Luego surge un gran problema, un grupo de hermanos se quejaron que varias viudas no eran atendidas en sus necesidades. Ante un problema, hay que dar soluciones sabias y prácticas. Los Apóstoles sugieren a la Asamblea que seleccionen a siete hombres para que administren las necesidades de las viudas y ejerzan el diaconado en la Iglesia.
Surge el diácono Esteban, hombre lleno de fe y del Espíritu Santo, quien proclamaba un gran mensaje y fue arrestado, pero su rostro era como la de un ángel. Es vital predicar la Palabra y servir a los necesitados.
El principio clave es no vivir de apariencias, sino de genuino servicio. Si se eligió a hombres, era por asunto cultural, ahora se puede escoger a mujeres para servicios nobles dentro de la Iglesia y así servir a todos.
Una de las maneras de servicio es, testificar de Cristo y animar al débil en la fe.
ORACIÓN:
Señor danos llenura del Espíritu y sabiduría para vivir en sana reputación y así servir a las viudas, los pobres y necesitados...

La numerología, es el estudio de los números, pero en este caso no al significado de cada dígito, sino al número de asistentes, y miembros que da el “Iglecrecimiento” en vez de interesarse en la persona integral.
Que enorme y abismal diferencia, hay entre la Iglesia genuina de Cristo, que predica la Palabra y sana doctrina en el poder del Espíritu Santo, con valentía, al precio de la cárcel y ver personas convertidas por Dios y que crecen integralmente, pues, se suple las necesidades espirituales, de comunión, de afecto, de bienes y ayuda a los más necesitados; que ciertas iglesias de hoy, que manipulan la gente para fines egoístas.
La Iglesia de Jesucristo, predicó bajo amenazas de los líderes religiosos y políticos, que a través de la historia, han tenido el poder en sus manos para marginar a los creyentes genuinos en Cristo y favorecer su poder, su “iglesia”, su “ status” y sus “modus vivendis”.
Por otro lado hay iglesias llamadas evangélicas que dan prioridad a los números, antes que a las personas, a docenas de “células”, antes que a la necesidad de su líder. A tener grandes edificios, antes que dar una vida decente, capacitada y con sueldo digno a su Pastor y su familia.
Un devocional no tiene que espiritualizarse, ni llenarse de odio, ni de activismos sociales, sino de vivir en santidad para agradar al Señor.
Para cambiar vidas en Cristo y edificar la Iglesia de Dios, necesitamos su oración e inversión.
ORACIÓN:
Perdona, Señor a tu Iglesia, que no pongamos énfasis en las cosas y en los números, sino en las necesidades íntegras de cada persona...

The God Of Peace

2 Thessalonians 3:16 NKJ

16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.
The Lord be with you all.
Several times the Bible refers to God as the God of peace. But as English readers we miss the full meaning.
The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament of the Bible was written in Greek. All English Bibles are translations.
The Greek word translated peace is eirene (i-ray'-nay), which corresponds with the Hebrew word translated peace, shalom (shaw-lome').
If you study extensively, both in the Hebrew and the Greek, you will find that these words translated peace have a rich meaning -- far more than just an absence of conflict.
The primary thought is one of wholeness -- lacking nothing. When nothing is missing you have peace. There is no anxiety because all is well.
This is the idea meant to be communicated by the term "God of peace" or the "peace of God." It includes health and prosperity as well as the normal English meaning of absence of conflict.

33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

“Pero cuando venga el Espíritu Santo sobre ustedes, recibirán poder y serán mis testigos tanto en Jerusalén como en toda Judea y Samaria, y hasta los confines de la tierra” (Hechos 1:8)
Sabía usted que un médico escribió el libro de Hechos, por el año 80 DC y que fue Lucas, un gentil que mostró que este libro esta llenó de acción y de misión; y es evidente el poder del Espíritu Santo, en el Pentecostés y en todo el libro, al dinamizar su Iglesia para la evangelización.
El Señor asciende al cielo y les deja otra comisión, el de recibir poder del Espíritu Santo para cumplir la obra misionera en el mundo. Hubo ciento veinte personas que esperaron la promesa, que llegó en la fiesta de las semanas conocida como quincuagésimo o Pentecostés, allí el Espíritu Santo los llenó y hablaron en otras lenguas testificando de Dios y sus maravillas. Pedro dio un gran mensaje y tres mil personas fueron añadidas a la Iglesia; se las bautizó, adoctrinó y amó.
Nuestra labor docente, al testificar y enseñar la Palabra de Dios, debe ser hecha en la llenura del Espíritu y dejar que él nos use para que otros sean convertidos a Cristo y nosotros le hagamos un seguimiento con la Biblia, la oración, la doctrina, la Iglesia y servirle en el discipulado.
Hoy es clave y necesario el poder del Espíritu para que la Iglesia crezca en liderazgo, dones, servicio a la comunidad, educación a los niños, la terapia a la familia; y el sanar las relaciones entre hermanos en la fe. El país necesita el toque del Espíritu para gobernar con justicia y paz.
Por las razones ya anotadas, es vital su aporte, orando e invirtiendo a fin de llegar con el poder del Espíritu a los incrédulos para que cambien de vida y los creyentes se consagren a servir al Señor.
ORACIÓN:
Padre, que tu Espíritu tome control de mi vida y de la Iglesia para restaurar nuestra comunidad...

You Are God's Work Of Art

EPHESIANS 2:10 NLT

10 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Outwardly, you may not appear to be much of a masterpiece. You may look like a piece of junk. But inwardly, and in reality, you are God's work of art -- and God does not make any junk.
All that is outward and seen is only temporary -- like the cocoon the butterfly inhabits for only a short time. So, while you should take care of your present body, don't be overly concerned about it. Most importantly, don't think of yourself as just the body you are now living in.
You are a child of Almighty God, creator and ruler of the universe. Someone God is "raising" to be His companion for eternity. You are NOT insignificant.
Admittedly, you are a work in progress. God still has more work to do with you -- but He is the artist, and He will finish His work. (Hint: as you submit to God, the easier it is for Him to change you into the wonderful image He has in mind.)
Someday, everyone will clearly see what God has done in you: making you a wonderful, unique individual worthy of Himself.
SAY THIS: Regardless of how I look or feel, I AM God's work of art -- His masterpiece.

“-¡La paz sea con ustedes! –repitió Jesús-. Como el padre me envío a mí, así yo los envío a ustedes” (Juan 20:21)
Tradicionalmente se enseña que la gran Comisión de Cristo, es la de Mateo 28:19; pero se ignora que hubo otras como el ejemplo del Señor Jesús, quien dijo: “Como el Padre me envío, así yo los envío”.
En forma deliberada y precisa puso a su misión como modelo para la nuestra. Ahora nos envía a nosotros, así como el Padre lo había enviado a él. Jesús alimentó bocas hambrientas y lavó pies sucios; sanó a los enfermos, consoló a los tristes y hasta volvió muertos a la vida. Por ello la nuestra, como la de él, ha de ser una misión de servicio. Se vació de su propio estatus y tomó la forma de siervo, y su humilde sentir ha de estar con nosotros. (Stott. La Misión Cristiana Hoy. 1977)
El Señor Jesucristo, venció a la muerte y forma extraordinaria, resucitó de entre los muertos. Las mujeres lo buscaron en el sepulcro y se les apareció primero a María y luego a sus discípulos quienes dudaron; especialmente Tomás, a quien el Señor lo hizo tocar sus manos y su costado y le dijo: “No seas incrédulo, sino hombre de fe”.
También hizo que tiraran la red a la derecha de la barca y pescaron una gran cantidad de peces, enseñándoles a confiar en él; luego reafirma a Pedro en su confesión y le encarga las ovejas de Israel; pero no su Iglesia Universal. El Señor no fundó ninguna religión.
Comparta el Evangelio de Cristo y sirva al necesitado; esa es la Misión de cada creyente. Por esta razón adore al Señor y ore a favor nuestro para que sigamos cambiando vidas en el poder de Jesucristo. Apóyenos.

Señor aquí estoy, úsame para testificar de ti, para invertir a favor de las personas dedicadas a las misiones por radio e Internet...

God's Word Will Make You Free

JOHN 8:31-32 NKJ

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Many people are afraid that God's Word will put them in bondage -- because of the rules they think they will have to follow. But Jesus said God's Word would make you free.
Abide means to live, to continue, or to spend time somewhere.
If you continue to spend time in Jesus' Word -- you will know the truth.
When you know the truth, you will act on that knowledge -- and acting on the truth will make you free!
The Bible, especially the message of Jesus Christ in the New Testament, will set you free if you continue in it.
We are not guaranteed instant results, although sometimes they do happen. Freedom is certain, however, if you stick with God's Word. Jesus gave His guarantee!
If you are not enjoying freedom in any area of your life -- you have not continued in God's Word enough in that area. Feed it in: speak it, sing it, read it, write it, think it, dream it!
SAY THIS: God's Word will make me free. Thank You, Lord!

SUFRIMIENTO Y MUERTE DE CRISTO

“Al probar Jesús el vinagre, dijo: todo se ha cumplido. Luego inclinó la cabeza y entregó el espíritu” (Juan 19:30)
La frase “consumado es” en el griego significa “Tetelestai” y se usaba, cuando alguien terminaba una tarea. Un obrero acababa algo y decía “todo esta cumplido”. Jesús pronunció esta máxima frase porque cumplió con todo lo que se propuso en la vida.
El Señor Jesucristo sufrió la traición de Judas el cobarde, que al ser confrontado con la pregunta de Jesús ¿A quién buscan? Se cayó, Judas y toda su gente. Pedro lo negó, los líderes religiosos no sabían que hacer con Jesús. Pilato el pusilánime, reconoció que Jesús no tenía nada de culpa, incluso interrogó al Señor, quien le contestó sabiamente; pero prefiero la gente al delincuente Barrabas, antes que al justo Jesús.
Jesucristo dio cátedra, desde la cruz, mientras los soldados se repartían el botín de las vestiduras; el Señor citaba la Escritura y consoló a su madre y a su discípulo amado. Él tuvo sed, pero le dieron a beber algo amargo, vinagre. Luego pronuncia la frase: “Todo está cumplido” y muere por el pecado del hombre.
Unos soldados al ver muerto al Señor, no le quiebran las piernas, sino que le abren el costado de donde surge agua y sangre. Y se cumple la Escritura: “No le quebrarán ningún hueso”. La Palabra de Dios siempre se cumple, por tanto, confiemos en ella y confiemos en su muerte.
La muerte de Cristo era necesaria para expiar nuestra culpa y limpiarnos de toda maldad. Ore e invierta para seguir cambiando vidas en Cristo. Cuente con nuestro consejo.
ORACIÓN:
Padre, mi vida está en tus manos, si me toca morir que sea para honrar tu nombre; mientras viva, guíame a agradarte en todo; que sea haga tu voluntad...
